That’s why we’ve partnered with OHHYTV, a media platform dedicated to documenting cannabis culture across Ohio and beyond, for the release of Blunt Force Healing — a short comic created by High Sciense and illustrated by manga artist Artistic Joon.
The comic debuts in the next issue of Oh High Yo! TV, dropping April 13th.

The Story Behind Blunt Force Healing
At the center of the comic is a Nuggy named Fizz, a plant character who’s pushed himself a little too far chasing extra-curricular adventures.
What follows is a comedic but strangely philosophical journey through healing, balance, and the strange wisdom cannabis culture tends to produce when people slow down long enough to listen.
Instead of sterile wellness messaging, Blunt Force Healing leans into something more honest:
Sometimes healing isn’t soft.
Sometimes it’s blunt.

The comic was brought to life by Artistic Joon, a manga-inspired illustrator from Myanmar whose work blends expressive characters, bold humor, and layered storytelling.
The visual style captures something that cannabis culture understands instinctively:
Healing isn’t always serious.
Sometimes it’s weird. Sometimes it’s chaotic. Sometimes it looks like a talking nug giving life advice.
And somehow, it still works.
The Beginning of a New High Sciense chapter
Blunt Force Healing also marks the launch of a limited High Sciense T-shirt collection inspired by the comic.
Each piece pulls visual elements and dialogue directly from the pages — translating the story into wearable culture.
This release is Chapter 1.
